St Michael & All Angels Winterbourne Earls

About us

Picture
We are a genuinely friendly church community, enjoying each others' company as well as welcoming casual visitors and those who might wish to become regular worshippers.
Our Sunday and midweek services follow the rhythm of the Church's year using a variety of texts from Common Worship, with Bible readings and prayers led by members of the congregation.
The church is warm in winter and cool in summer and we regularly have coffee/tea after services, as well as enjoying shared meals together in the South Aisle.
St Michael's is blessed by having a good number of very dedicated volunteers who take care of all the necessary jobs in and around the building and churchyard, as well as caring for members of the congregation and local community.
We have many friends at the local Methodist Chapel and often arrange joint activities. Being part of the Bourne Valley Team of Anglican churches in the Salisbury diocese means that we benefit from the team ministry of the clergy and Licensed Lay Ministers although Peter, our Vicar, has primary responsibility for pastoral care at St Michael's.
